Sincerely: As Elli’s mentioned before, writing Stone was a real challenge. He’s gotta sound smart and he’s gotta be manipulative without reading as manipulative. The contrast between his levelheadedness and Jack’s hyper-emotionalness (or Vigi in ch.3) really does half the work.
