Does the port really have gaps in their camera placements, perhaps there were budget restrictions? Or as minor rebellion only gave up limited access to doors expected to be used? Would not be surprised if a smuggler group has someone on the security staff to help coordinate what coverage is available when :}
It’s a government installation so I would imagine budget – the biggest security hurdle is getting cleared to enter this alien quarantine zone to begin with, so it makes sense to me that the air field is a little more lax than Kyan and the gang might prefer.
That said, conditions for a smuggling operation would be pretty ideal, here. The stuff going up there would be highly regulated and the fees would be really steep. This would be a really fun mini comic I think!
Oh! If you are into the premise of smuggling things to the moon, ‘Artemis’ by Andy Weir was really really good.
It is a great book. It’s like you guys did a PG13 Op spinof feel.
Yeah!! I didn’t read Artemis until well after but wow, it really is RIGHT up my genre!! I gotta read more of his books
