Elliwiny: I don’t remember the exact worldbuilding details but all of the Seekers’ surnames are sort of like their job titles. Tath Seti says that to call him ‘Mister Seti’ is like calling him ‘Mr. Mister’ but I always interpreted that explanation as being sort of reductive for the sake of good PR. Harth and Ozalle Oro ARE related by blood, (an outdated tradition for pilots but hey, they old) but they are ‘Oro’ because they are a specific kind of pilot.
All this to say, I think what they were looking for was a term for the group, and what they got was Marco giving the cumbersome life stories of like a dozen people who all have the same, nonprestigious title.
