Sincerely: I like the panels being small at the top and getting wider. I have no idea if we did that for symbolism or it was just the best way to do it, but I like it.

Elliwiny: It’s not symbolic, but it is a visual communication device – Smaller panels can communicate a more frenetic pace, and the panels get bigger as she processes this new information and gets more ‘space’ to follow them to their logical conclusions. But also, I really really like to draw Sara emoting, and there is a LOT of big emoting from her in this scene. More panels = more goofy faces = happy Elli
