Elliwiny: Baron gleefully hiding behind the police does add a horrifying dimension to this sequence that I don’t think I considered when I drew this! But it is perfectly in character for this assclown.
Sincerely: I remember thinking when I wrote this, back in, uh, it was definitely before 2016 that Nathan being a black guy who is also an alien is a significant demographic cross section for a scene where he’s literally picking two people up off the ground, one of whom is a police officer.
He would’ve survived if they’d shot him with a gun instead of tasers. It would’ve been so awkward.
With all that “distraction” going on, Jack could have carried almost anything in & out of the security checkpoint! Might not have even needed that bag :}
So many units do not have the resources and training to remember that reinforcements should come from reserves. Not by stripping active duty posts, leaving holes in coverage :{
