Elliwiny: Hey, we’re introducing one of the most important characters in the book! I’m talking of course about the briefcase and the briefcase’s stunt double.

I’m kidding, I love Vigi. Every time she interacts with Jack is a fun time for me.

I also love what Sin did with the light in the first panel. It really shows off the Briefcase’s good side.

Sincerely: I loved writing Vigi’s enthusiasm for and inability to use English idioms. For a setting like this you need to make some decisions early and stick to them. My love of language shenanigans will be on full display in The Verdant Deep, but for Opps I decided we were just going to completely ignore the language issue. Everyone speaks English! Universal Translators, right? But of course, I still found ways to have fun with language.
