Elliwiny: Pish posh, security!!! I enjoy these little windows into Kyan’s work life. She cares so deeply about doing quality work when there are thousands of reasons to not give a shit.
Sincerely: I love it when they do the thing where they iterate on each other’s dialogue. Writing these guys was super fun.
Also, when I wrote the outline for the book I put “pish posh” as a shorthand for like ‘this is the gist of what they were going to say to her’ and Elli loved it so much she insisted it make it into the actual dialogue.
An old question, if the manglement is going to ignore her, why did they hire her? At least they are outside, so her tense feet are just gouging pavement, instead of expensive office flooring :}
They hired her to show that they’re important people who need security.
