Elliwiny: I love ‘the watchmen’ panel layout for stuff like this. Before Opps, I did these flash cartoons where you’d hit the directional arrows to turn virtual pages like a slideshow. I really liked doing this thing where you could visually evoke a pause by making only slight changes, in the same panel, but on a different slide. That convention of repeating panels with slight changes is a technique I still really really like, but it was also a hard habit to break when I switched to working on pages with opportunities. I couldn’t just throw little pauses for dramatic emphasis around willy-nilly like I could in those slideshow style comics.
All of Sara’s effort to be a _little_ subtle, and Jack just throws a mini-tantrum in front of the elevator camera. Though he did keep the his body between camera and gun :}
