I’d say that for a long range space travel, that probably takes much longer than a normal flight (without some kind of hibernation), the passengers have access to some of their heavier luggage during the travel. The comic did not shown yet how space travel works in this world, but presumably the characters are not completely clueless.
That is not to say that this will be easy. There bound to be some kind of advanced security, these are not Goa’ulds.
