Elliwiny: I really like how Sin totally nails this really specific writing… thing. I don’t know how to describe it. It’s the ‘I’m not sure how I’m supposed to feel or what I’m supposed to glean from this in this moment, but I’m still getting important information about their character’ writing gymnastics thing. On the surface: Kyan’s hearing is incredible. She’s kind of an asshole, but maybe Rex really is an idiot. However, as we get to know Kyan and see her work, we’ll also come to learn that she can always, eventually, unerringly, pick out the ocean that everyone around her insists must be traffic – even people who ought to have her back.
